Hello

I started my career as a technical support phone representative while attending college for computer science. I then moved into a software development role, and every time I was asked to add or change a software feature, I would ask WHY? But, in an annoying and frustrating way — to my colleagues, at least — and this curiosity led to my pivot into Product Management. Under the tutelage of many experienced product leaders, I grew from managing features to products to portfolios to people and organizations,

Along the way, I learned that I enjoy developing teams that deliver lovable products that solve everyday problems in profitable ways.

I am eternally curious and love learning by doing, placing small bets to learn quickly so that I can place bigger bets more confidently. A bias for action doesn't have to mean being reckless... and innovation doesn't always have to mean technology.

Execution (and culture) applied against a meaningful strategy is unbeatable. Winning in good times is easy; winning in hard times is not; and I've lead teams through both — my strongest teams are the ones that thrived during the hard times, and grew into the good times.

I’ve built teams in product management that drive industry-leading results, leveraging the best of holistic systems thinking and deep-learning about our customers and their needs. One such product won multiple Emmy® Awards, and reinvigorated a stalling line of business.

Companies often focus on outputs, but survive on outcomes. I start with a strong product strategy linked to outcomes that drive a product roadmap to anchor expectations.

I love thinking big, and then breaking inertia by taking small steps to get started. Momentum is a powerful tool, no matter how small it starts. Celebrating wins along the way give teams the confidence they need to scale and grow.

I have extensive experience in both U.S. and International product delivery of STB, Mobile, Web, and Consumer Electronics products and online services; with a blend of B2C and B2B delivery; at both startups and Fortune 50 companies. I've experienced just about everything, from IPO's to wind-down's and everything in between.

Now, I'd love to help you grow your product success.
